New Regional Website - Mark 1 Version

Greetings everyone!

This is the "Mark 1" version of the new Potomac Regional Website. I'd like to ask that everyone review the site and please let me know if anything is incorrect, or if you'd like anything changed.

Team Pages:

Each team has a dedicated page - you will notice that there are just "test statements" in there for most of the teams right now.

There is a team "short description" section and also a large description area. This would be a great place to list a short team history/team bio and include any other accolades that

Schedule:

I've included skirmishes from Potomac, Central Virginia, Chesapeake, and Allegheny regions. I'm happy to change any of it - figured that most would want to see all the dates at the Fort.

Currently, the links to the invites are pointed to the N-SSA website. If you want this changed, I can add a "file" section - and the PDF or Word files can be uploaded directly to this website.

About Us:

This is a section about the Potomac Region. Again - open to any changes.

Photos:

You will notice that SOME TEAM do not have photos. Feel free to email me at the "Contact the Webmaster" email in the footer - or send them to JR to forward.

JR has provided some, some photos are mine, some photos were previously provided to me for other projects (the N-SSA Smugmug site), and most are Niki's. I pilfered a lot of her photos from the last couple of years of photo dumps in the N-SSA Facebook Group. Everyone, say THANK YOU to Niki!

Text and Font:

I tried to keep the font a clear and readable font style - and also LARGE enough that we wouldn't get a bunch of complaints about it being too small. If anyone has any issues - just let me know.

Mobile Site Design:

I can set up specific design pages and layouts for MOBILE optimized pages - but I haven't had time to do this yet. So, just know that this site, as it stands, is best viewed on a computer (currently).

The Potomac Region News page:

Is set up like a blog - so posts can be created by designated persons and posted for all to read.

Member Pages:

We have the ability to set up Member Pages, backed by login. You can create an account now - however, there isn't really anything there yet. We can do a lot of things with this section, should you choose to. But I haven't had sufficient time to think about this section, prior to the Recruit Skirmish.

I will reiterate - OPEN TO IDEAS! Let me know what you guys and gals want on here and we'll work on getting it added over the Fall/Winter
